The room was not what we expected, poorly arranged rather small and we were unable to exchange it for a larger room like we asked to do. The nice thing about our stay was it was very quiet.

We were in town for a motorcycle function and stayed Thursday through Sunday. The hotel was spotless, staff was friendly and very helpful, pool was wonderful. Also liked that it was near places to eat and convenient for shopping (Menards, WalMart, etc.). Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was fairly good. Room was clean. We had an issue with the TV in our room. It appeared that possibly the cable connection was poor because every time we were watching a show the TV would cut out. We did tried to call down to the front desk our last evening there to try to get some help with it but no one answered our call. We were also slightly dissatisfied with the breakfast selection and have had better breakfast selections and other hotels we have stay in.

There was a very strong irritating smell throughout the building. Maybe cleaning supplies? The tv in our room cut off after approx. 20 - 30 min. each time we tried watching it.

No coffee creamer in the room and the breakfast area ran out too. We were put in a ( nonrequested ) handicap room but that was ok except the bed was SO LOW and the TV was mounted where it was unable to be seen in any comfortable place.

The staff went over and above expectations. The only issue I can say I had, was the tub didn’t drain properly. By the time I got done with my shower, I was ankle deep in water.

The couch was uncomfortable but the bed and linen were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but it was like the carpet had been wet and not properly dried as the living room smelled like sour laundry. The halls also smelled of smoke and the elevator was not clean.

Our room was OK with the exception of the bed which didn't seem to fit the sheets and the sink and faucet in the bathroom; there was hardly any water pressure in the faucet and the sink was clogged.

Don't let my 4-star ratings dissuade you from staying at the Towneplace Suites in Findlay, Ohio; I rarely give 5 stars. That said, this was our second time staying at this location in 2 years, and reserving the same type of accommodations (2 bedroom suite). The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and a bonus is that each bedroom has its own heat/ac. There are plenty of pillows and blankets, and these beds are hands down the most comfortable I have had the pleasure of using in a hotel. The kitchen is stocked with silverware, measuring cups and spoons, steak and cutting knives, pots, pans, a colander (!), cutting board, pot holders, dish soap, dishwasher, dish towels, paper towels, drinkware, plates, bowls...the whole shebang. The living area sports a 48" or 50" (not sure which, but it's plenty big) smart TV, a couch large enough for 3 people, a large ottoman, a work desk/dining table and 4 dining chairs. We had a small issue with some of the stations not displaying but once we notified the front desk they got one of their maintenance personnel on it and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Turns out the cable service the hotel uses was having a server issue and just needed to be reset...easy fix. The property boasts an in-ground pool, grilling area (we checked out the sizable Weber grill they have there for guests to use and it's CLEAN!), outdoor lounging area with patio umbrellas. The property is kept clean and free of debris outside. They have plenty of baggage carts.

The bed was uncomfortable, very low to ground, we bought a mattress topper. The couch was hard as a rock so there was no place to actually get comfortable unless you sat at the dining table. The staff was great and always very friendly. The building and area is very clean. The pool looked nice but we never used it.
