"It was neat staying in an old, historic Salisbury townhouse. However, the ad says there’s parking, which I implied to mean parking on-site—not a public parking lot that was a 5 min walk away and cost about 10 pounds for overnight parking. Also, the mattress springs could be felt in every bed. While the steep, narrow staircases weren’t a problem for our family, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for someone who might have an issue with it. "There were 20 of us from 17-93 for this 70th birthday weeklong celebration. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and although grand felt like home. Plenty to enjoy in the lovely grounds - tennis matches/ croquet / hot tub under the stars. Very helpful housekeeper swiftly tackled any minor issues. We had the most amazing time."
