"We never tired of the view...absolutely magnificent. We were there in May and enjoyed the midnight sun! Plenty of sturdy deck chairs, a big hot tub, and an impressive large couch with plenty of throw pillows. Only 2 of us so the property felt large. Just incredible sunsets, relaxing hike to grocery (25 mins), even a farm across the way with friendly goats, Scottish cattle, horses, even emus! Easy taking modern bus to Bergen. We rented a car for last 2 days, but did fine first 2 days hiking around. Friendly people in the area, and very relaxing."

The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. We rented a boat from the hotel next door one day, and went hiking another day. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and had everything we needed. "
