Lakefront Cabin on West Point Lake, private dock, fire pit! Near Lagrange

  • The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated and charming ! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access. The upstairs loft bedroom has two full beds, a daybed and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking! Please note this is a non-smoking property.

    *****Pets under 25 lbs are allowed ONLY WITH OWNERS PERMISSION and will be charged $150 non refundable per pet cleaning fee. Any violation will be subject to added charges and possibly asked vacate the property. Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During fall/winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We also have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds.     We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. If you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent.
    There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock!
    New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin!

    Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping!

The perfect get away for a father / son fishing trip. Everything was perfect at the lake house and it had everything we needed for our stay. We spent most of our time fishing the lake. There is easy access to fish right from the dock. We caught several Bass, Crappie and Catfish. We cooked the Crappy at the Cabin and took the rest of the fish home. It got pretty cold at night but the firepit made it fun for my son.Communication with the owner was easy and overall it was a great stay. My son told me he wants to go back.That was all I needed to hear.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the A-frame. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings with an amazing view! The accommodations were nice and comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Easy walk to the water/dock and the pontoon boat was a great addition to our stay as well.

What a wonderful getaway!

We spent a couple of days here over spring break and had so much fun just relaxing, kayaking, fishing, and hanging out around the fire pit. The lake house was adorable and very clean and the host answered any questions we had very quickly. We will be back!

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

It was absolutely gorgeous. We had fun on the dock, caught a few fish, and grilled out a lot!The only thing we didn't like was how close the neighbors were. The bedroom windows are beautiful, but they face the neighbors kitchen and deck. We had to leave the blinds closed the whole time for privacy.Other than that, it was a great cabin and great stay!

Nice, Quiet Getaway

Our stay was just what we wanted. The cabin was in a great location. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the deck and also the chairs that were set out down by the water. We didn't cook at the cabin as there were so many restaurants in LaGrange. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, and both were more than helpful. Thank you to them and VRBO for being easy to work with.

Relaxation at its finest!

We had the most relaxing time on our trip. This summer was our second time staying. We plan on going back next summer as well. The neighbors are friendly. The lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. Relaxed Summer

This year was our third summer to stay at the A frame on the lake. It’s become a tradition for my little family. We look forward to it every year. The house is cozy and spotless. The lake is just a few steps away. The fire pit is perfect for making s’more’s and memories.The host is amazing and very easy to get in touch with. I rate this place a 10/10.
