"Location couldn’t be better, great that it has a car park, very pleasant in the hotel, a nice space to be. Reception staff were great, waiting on staff were a bit miserable, especially at breakfast. The bar area is lovely. Scaffolding and builders at your window were a drawback but maintenance has to be done. Bed was VERY hard, a bit too much for my liking. Feather pillows that squash virtually flat, should have asked for a foam option with hindsight! It was ok, I wouldn’t not go back but in my opinion the price premium is for location rather than an outstanding hotel experience"

"Good budget hotel! Definitely would book here again. Security personnel were in site at all times. One of the staff members was unfriendly, but it didn't take away from the quality of the stay."

"Room not cleaned properly. Housekeeping gave 1 set of towel instead of 2 during one of the cleaning sessions. Phone in the room no longer working. Was told that they are doing away with the phone. Bathroom floor sounds when steps."

"The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant location, right next to the Haymarket train and tram stations. Good links for buses and taxis too. Platform 5 pub attached to the hotel is very good, pleasant atmosphere, food and drinks. The room could have been a bit cleaner, in particular the floors. The duvet was incredibly thick, coupled with the fact the windows were screwed shut and the air conditioning would only go to a minimum of 20 degrees, it made for quite a warm night."

"Hotel overall was excellent. We arrived about an hour before check in and they were able to accommodate us early. The hotel has a set of large drapes upon entrance into the lobby. It made the entrance dark and a bit awkward. Staff were fantastic. The lighting in the hotel common areas, including reception and hallways is dark. Only other negative was the large scent diffuser by the elevators. It was a bit overwhelming. We had a light meal in the bar area, food was good and again the staff were excellent. While the hotel location is a bit further away from the airport, we used a taxi both ways. Will run you "
