"We were able to check in early and the room had clearly just been cleaned as it smelt very fresh. Breakfast was good for the price and had plenty of options. Easy access to the city centre via the bus and was able to park the car for free for the duration of our stay. I would stay here again if i was in the area. The only criticism is that the iron in the room did not work very well. "

"We came for a 4 day mini break to Edinburgh. The hotel is next door to Edinburgh Zoo. Catch the 100 Airport bus, Stand A: it is about 15minutes by bus to the hotel. To go to Princes Street in the city centre bus 26/31 is right outside the hotel & about a 15minutes trip. An Open day ticket for bus/tram £6pp. The hotel is very convenient with excellent very friendly helpful staff, without exception! Rooms are clean & airy. Food is excellent. Breakfasts £12.50 if booked the day before, £16 on the day otherwise. There is a gym, pool, jacuzzi & sauna. Towels are provided. This area is spotless. We used all var the gym, which looked well equipped. Position wise it is very accessible for the city centre, airport, zoo & Murrayfield. We were delighted with our choice of hotel & would definitely return here if we come to Edinburgh again."

"Absolute belter of a location for a serviced apartment in Edinburgh. Only fifteen mins walk from the west end of Princes Street and a few mins walk to Haymarket station. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re after a high-end self-catered option. "

"The Apex in Grass market is a perfect location for the Castle, Old Town, Royal Mile and loads of restaurants, cafes and pubs. The staff were brilliant and not just one but everyone that dealt with us over the week. They were accommodating and very pleasant. Facilities included a spa and very clean swimming pool. I seriously can't recommend this hotel highly enough."

"Very convenient and quiet hotel within easy reach to centre by public transport. Free car park at the premises. Very friendly and helpful staff both at the main desk and in the restaurant at breakfast time. Beds were very comfortable and we all had a great sleep. Spacious family room for two adults and a 15 year old. We had a single bed and a double bed rather than a pull out sofa bed and a bed, which was great. Unfortunately the lift was not working due to maintenance issues, but that was not a problem for us. Hairdryer didn’t work, which was a minor inconvenience and I forgot to report this. Breakfast was very nice as well, but no porridge. Hotel close to the venue we went to for a gig the night before. As a plus surprise, we met some of the band members at breakfast time😊. "
