"Best breakfast and such a friendly hotel! Windows stay open in the evenings in your room for circulation, which can possibly increase noise in the room from students outside, but not a big problem for us. We would stay again. Thank you!!"

"Amazing room and comfy bed. All newly refurbished. Lovely swans made on the bed with the towels. Used the pool and assume that area hasn’t finished been done yet - steam room needs refurbishing but sauna and swim were great. Bar at the back on the waterfront really nice."

"Ok yes it does need a refresh, but the rooms are clean, the linen was clean, and it cheap. What else do you want for the very low price. If you want 5 star pay for it."

"The room was clean and bed comfy. BBC tv coverage bad. Bathroom needs upgrading. Room 115. Breakfast good but chaotic - there was not enough info on ordering various items and what order to move around the various item tables. Finding staff to take order not easy. Staff were v pleasant. Reception staff excellent Didn’t use any spa facilities so can’t comment. Overall impression that the whole building needs attention. Very good position for Chesterfield."
