"Room is very noisy"

"Very much enjoyed our stay. 4 star rating, there was a couple of disappointments. No bellman upon arrival so we had to struggle with our luggage. We couldn’t get into our room until 6 pm so we had a round or two of drinks in the rooftop restaurant. Hotel comp us one round which was appreciated. Rooms are beautiful. Hot water availability for showers was hit and miss. Beds very firm . Coffee in rooms is mediocre at best, however coffee in the Somni restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Roof top restaurant had excellent food and service . Concierge Richard and Isaac were excellent and helped with tour and restaurant reservations."

"The location of this hotel was excellent as there were cafes, pubs, stores, and wonderful architecture very close-by, and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to see. The desk staff were helpful and pleasant."

"The location is excellent. I was able to walk to almost all places within an hour. The staff seemed like they were at work and not exactly thrilled about it. The building is beautiful but there are some maintenance issues, like damage to the floor (tiles not secure, missing pieces of wood). I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm for a week and several people flooded the bathroom due to poor shower design. Also, there was nowhere to hang our wet towels, so people were draping them over the wood on their beds, causing water damage. Two of the lockers did not lock, which meant people's things weren't secure."

"This hotel was amazing and anyone visiting Barcelona must stay here. The staff is very friendly and very helpful to satisfy any of your travel needs in Barcelona or elsewhere. The breakfast is amazing even though there is a fee. If you're staying at this hotel, you must sign up for the breakfast. The rooftop pool and bar is so relaxing and perfect for enjoying the rooftop views in this part of Barcelona. It is a short walk to good restaurants and there is a convenience store across the street and down a few hundred ft. You can't miss it because it has flowers and plants along the sidewalk for sale. You can even buy washcloths there because hotels in Spain don't provide them. When we return to Barcelona we will definitely stay there."
