It was a nice hotel in a quiet resort. Hotel felt a little tired, we had a light fitting collapse in the bedroom and some of fixtures and fittings were a little worn. But staff were generally friendly although it seemed that they paid more attention to French people (we were one of a handful of English speaking families). I would say it is a good quality 3 star hotel, and not really 4 star standards. But for the area compared to other properties I think it is one of the better hotels. If I had to stay again in that area, I would stay here again - it was a pleasant stay.

The property is situated in a prime location with a beautiful view. The swimming pools were really clean and the staffs were so nice. My room landline and TV was not working, just checking the room once would have helped . Overall an amazing experience :)

A budget hotel that served my purpose for business travel. Beautiful grounds and reasonably friendly staff and a generally comfortable room. Breakfast was awful, poorly executed, poorly presented and small variety. I stayed only one night and it was only acceptable but if I had booked a 2 week dream holiday to Mauritius and ended up here then I'd be sorely disappointed.

Nice location, enough space and shelfs in rooms and big pools. Beach was not crowdy also nice yoga on the beach in the morning although the yoga teacher was always late. Very good breakfast. Please avoid the garden spa, worst manicure ever resulting in bleeding cuticles and bad quality uneven polish. Otherwise would recommend Anelia Resort & Spa

this stay is very hard to summarize. the location of the hotel is excellent when whale watching or walks to beach or the Chamarel targets are on the bucket list. The pools are great and bit unsure why there is so often a fuss for clean beach towels since those should just be procured and maybe do not support some people changing all the time and others wait forever on a fresh one. The rooms are incredible bad noise insulated - you hear next to you and above you all the time. We enjoyed half pension and it was really weird that not even one bottle of water was included in the dinner, but all beverages had a price. And finally the staff is really difficult to judge upon. Some staff members are super - attentive, responsive and you feel a homey atmosphere while some are not really having their heart in the game. It really depends what you want to experience. If you enjoy a strong hang towards the Indian kitchen, spacious rooms which are somewhat needing a bit love and upgrading and an excellent base camp location the place delivers on price and value for sure. Having a Mauritius catalogue vacation- no for that the pricing packages and the mishaps from the staff will be in the way.

The most unprofessional and poor service ever

The hotel is aesthetically very pretty. The rooms are very modern looking and clean. But all of this gets diluted by the terrible service at this resort. At reception only 1 lady, the short lady who checked is in, was friendly and cared about giving is good service. The rest of the front desk staff was super rude and patient. Sometimes they flat out refused to provide us service like when I requested an iron they guy just said no he won’t bring it because it was too early. The worst service was in the restaurant. Orders we make for drinks would be simply ignored. You wait for hours and nothing comes. The staff speaks to you rudely. They would make us move from certain areas because it’s not allowed to eat from there. It was just all horrible and unprofessional. We had to spend most of our time away from the resort and just go back there to sleep because the treatment was not nice.

The room cleaning is slapdash. The waiting staff are slow and as a single woman they tended to ignore me. The food is very average. I ordered room service due to feeling unwell and they failed to deliver it. The towels are old and not replaced as the towel booth shuts very early. Not a great hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel looked different from its pictures and the property looks old. Renovations is needed and the worse experience was the Spa. I got the worst manicure. The lady cut my nails back so far it looks awful. She also did not offer to put nail polish on. I didn’t realize until I was checking out that I could get color but it would have cost more. She didn’t inform me or offer the option. The entire staff at the spa also were not very friendly at all. They were very young. I’m not sure if it was a language thing or not. I was nice and explained that my French wasn’t that great. Everything else was good. The restaurant staff was friendly and efficient. The food was good and had a few varieties which were alright.

Nous avons passé un deuxième excellent séjour de 19 jours à l’Anelia. Les chambres sont très bien équipées et le balcon donnait sur une vue océan magnifique, en particulier lors du coucher de soleil! Le personnel est adorable que ce soit à l’accueil, au bar, au service, à la cuisine ou pour le nettoyage des chambres. La cuisine est bonne et l’emplacement est génial!

Positif : Avions réservé chambre superieure vue mer , surclassé avec chambre luxe vue sur rien . Avons demandé vue mer comme reservé , et on nous a donné chambre superieure Anelia vue mer dipo que a 17h30 . Leger surclassement donc . Ménage ok . Piscine superbe Petite plage mais elle est là. Plats chauds repas du soir variés et très bons . Personnel assez gentils , 1 seule personne froide a l’accueil . Parties communes bien entretenues . Ping pong , tennis , babyfoot .. Pret serviettes plage /piscine. Serviettes toilette changées tous les jours . 2 bouteilles d' eau de 1 litre offertes chaque jour . Frigo dans la chambre . Boissons environ 5e en moyenne , hors all inclusive . Parking voiture surveillé ok . Prêt une chambre pour se doucher lors du départ , sur demande .( en avance ) Côté Négatif : Pas assez parasols au bord de la piscine. Entrées repas du soir peu variées et répétitives . Attention de pas laisser votre petit dejeuner sans surveillance ! Aucun oiseau le soir . Des mouches viennent sans cesse vous embêter , lorsque vous bronzez sur votre transat .
