"We stayed at the cottage house which is outside the main building. It was very spacious and has an indoor jacuzzi tub which is why we booked it. The hot water is pre-heated, so it was just enough to fill the tub. There won’t be hot water after if you wanted a shower. Also, an important downside for us was the wifi signal is so weak that neither our phone nor laptops could pick any signal. Was a bit disappointed in that regard as the hotel is aware of the problem but made no effort to fix it....

"We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. Dinner was available but had to be ordered by 5.30pm. We...

"Have to say one of the best, if not THE best places i've ever stayed. Clean, plenty of room for my son and we had everything we needed for our weekend away. House keeping was amazing, always came back to our room clean and fresh again. Definitely the quietest hotel we've ever had. Just perfect and what we needed for our weekend away. "I’d rather tell the hotel the bad stuff. Bath was awesome. Shower too. Furniture looked good. Breakfast in our room was outstanding. I’d like mayo with breaky also but i could have asked. So no points deducted. Bed comfy. Four poster bed a nice touch. Most paint and fixtures nice. I would recommend. Xxx lovely owners. "

"Wanslea Guest house was just what I needed, an oasis in England's beautiful Lake District. The owners spoil you with a wonderful breakfast (many food options), incredibly clean rooms, a well stocked tea cart, comfortable furniture. I would return here in a heartbeat! "

"This place was amazing & such good value for money. Our one bed apartment was spacious, clean & well equipped. All the staff were helpful & friendly, we ate at the restaurant one night and it was lovely. Would definitely stay again."
