"The prooerty is 3.5 star so keeping that in mind, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room and surrounds were clean, tidy and spacious. Airport shuttle service available.
Only negative was the pool looked a bit manky and i noticed no one used it while i was there. The room views off the balcony deck were stunning. Well done staff."

"Bamboo paradiseWe thoroughly enjoyed our week at the House of Bamboo. Simon picked us up from the airport and was kind enough to stop in town so we could pick up some groceries. Junior carried our luggage up to the house (sorry about those heavy dive bags). The views were absolutely stunning from the deck and the refreshing salt water pool. Some nights we just didn't want to leave the property so we cooked on the grill those evenings we didn't dine in Savusavu. Appreciated the privacy on top of the hill - well worth the walk up the steps. Already planning our return trip. Thank you Bruce!"

"If you like privacy, lush surroundings and a spectacular view this truly is the place, especially if you're newlyweds or celebrating a 30yr second honeymoon as we were.
Our onsite host, caretaker and chef Radhika was truly a gem. The cuisine was excellent and Radhika was genuine and caring. Her willingness to offer information or advice on how to locate and participate in experiencing the best of Fijian culture, sights or activities was invaluable and made our dream vacation everything we had hoped for or more.
We would make high recommendations for anyone considering this venue for their special time together. Be sure to ask for Radhike !!"
"Lovely hosts and a wonderful view. The host and her family are simply lovely folks and we felt so welcome. This is a small, family run property and they could not have been nicer. So glad we made this choice. It was terribly humid but the room was a reprieve from the steamy walk to town. Wi-Fi was fine. I never tried the TV because being here was a nice respite from the US."
