Listing was fraudulent. There was no air conditioning as listed. We arrived late around 8 PM and had to stay that night since there were no other accommodations available that late. Left the next morning was promised a refund by the manager the night before. This never occurred. I would never recommend this place to even my worst enemy

To begin there were 50 stairs in ordered to reach the apartment without any breaks. As a 60 year old I struggled to climb them everyday. The communication with the renter was horrible, we had forgotten our passports in the room and she was very rude and useless in trying to assist us. Her responses also were short and not helpful. The cleanliness of the apartment was horrible. The shower was missing a door and there were stains on the couch. There was no air conditioning either and the WiFi never worked. I would honestly recommend removing this location as a place to rent from because our experience was that horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This apartment was in a great location! It worked well for our family of 6. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. We arrived during a heat wave so the apartment was hot. There were fans available however they didn't work well enough to cool down the place. We would stay again.

Perfect location!

Downstairs lies the best sandwich in the world. SUPER close to everything you would want to do. Stairs are brutal, but doable if you are young and healthy or have help. We did it with 5 luggage, a baby and a stroller and I believe only someone who isn’t happy would complain. It is worth the stay trust me. Book it!

Other than a great location, a total nightmare… 55 steep steps to unit, crappy AC, dirty and nasty overall, only 1 shower worked, queen beds were NOT queen beds as they were 2 single beds put together, no TV as shown in pictures and be ready to smell food from the restaurants bellow all day and night!

The Great Florentine Furnace ExperienceCultural immersion, pasta, and slow dehydration—this apartment delivers. Location? Perfect. Everything is a short walk away: food, drinks, shopping, history. What it lacks in comfort, it makes up for in proximity.The air conditioner broke the day we arrived. Coincidence? Perhaps. Floor fans outnumbered towels, so if you thrive on white noise and warm gusts, welcome home.Customer service handed us a phone number and a hearty “good luck.” Beds? A poetic mix of minimal linens and cobblestone texture. But who needs blankets in a 400-degree sauna?Sleep was theoretical. With windows flung open for the occasional breeze and symphony of scooters, we squeezed in a nightly hour of sweaty delirium. The shower delivered hot water and tragic pressure, as if Florence itself mourned our suffering.And the stairs—100 of them, Everest-esque. No elevator. Just pure quadriceps glory.Ten out of ten if you’re prepping for gladiator school. Otherwise, pack ice packs and low expectations.

Great location – inaccurate listing

The apartment location cannot be better. Unfortunately, they advertise this apartment as having air conditioning, which is simply not true. We stayed at the end of July 2023 for two nights and it was unbearable. They provided three fans which were not even working correctly. I will have to think very carefully to use vrbo next time (this is the second time in this trip that the amenities listed were inaccurate, i.e., nonexistent).

The pictures showed a view of a piazza. The flat was nowhere near a piazza. The flat was up 55 stairs with half the lights out. The host only supplied 2 days worth of soap and toilet paper. When I called they would not help and told me to go buy it. There were no amenities in the flat. We had to buy everything

Non working A/C unit

Description makes everything seem great. Does not clearly state that there is a huge flight of stairs. It is not possible for an older person. The main problem of apratment from day one was A/c called and technician came said unit is old and weak. The owner knows this fact Eduardo and he still rents out, very bad buisness will continue to tell everyone not to rent apartment. Communicated with them twice the 3rd time they stop responding. DO YOUSELF AND YOUR FAMILY A FAVOR DON'T RENT THIS UNIT.

Location was good (close to lots of restaurants, piazzas, and things to do/see) and place was pretty clean. Very tiny bathrooms and small kitchen. One of the bedrooms was only accessible by walking through another bedroom so that room really didn’t have privacy. But the biggest reason for low score was that it was so hot/humid and it was advertised to have air conditioning but it didn’t work! When we messaged the host about it, she said she had someone check it and they said it was working. Yet there was NO cool air coming out at all… Hmm, are you saying we’re lying? Therefore, we had to sleep half naked with all the windows open, and it was VERY loud outside till 1:30-2AM and then at 5:30AM loud machines outside would walk us up. And the mosquitoes got in and were biting us. All of that wouldn’t have been an issue if we could’ve kept the windows closed if A/C had been working. Smaller issues: Fridge door didn’t easily close tight, a couple of the bedroom lights didn’t work, no towel or TP holders in bathrooms, no paper towels/tissues/napkins. We were prepared for all the steps to get up to the apartment on the 3rd floor since it mentioned that in the description, so although that wasn’t easy with luggage, that wasn’t what caused us to rate this place on the low side.

Perfect location for tourism. Ok experience overall

Check in was a little annoying. This could easily have a lockbox or keyless entry from the foyer. The management forces you to wait there at the door for them no matter what, and we had gotten off 12 hours of travel so this was excruciating with toddlers. Their office is ten mins away so they messaged us repeatedly saying “let us know when you’re 10 mins away” we could not have been more on time, I messaged them 30 mins and then ten mins out, still we stood on a busy commercial street with two little kids with all our bags for ten mins. My suggestion would be to lie and say you’re at the door to ensure someone is there to let you in. Just poor service imo. The Television in the photos has been removed - should be cause for fine or violation of VRBO terms. Showers and towel quality was nice compared to our other Italy stays. There was one blanket for four beds - the rest had only sheets. It has all the charm of a hostel. Photos make this look much nicer and modern. A/c was not a problem as other reviews noted but it is extremely loud and we shut it off. My parents booked a similar price unit on the same street and had a much nicer welcome to the city. We were envious.

Awful place!

The pictures on the site don’t match what you actually get. There is not even a TV! We were very excited with the location until the door opened and we saw a huge fly of stairs that take you to the second floor (55 steps to be exact) Some individuals would never be able to go up and down that easily. The bathroom shower didn’t drain and didn’t have a shelf to place the soap and shampoo so everything sat on the floor. There was not toilet paper holder so that also sat on the floor. Normally units will have hand soap but this one didn’t. The beds didn’t have covers, just sheets. There were blankets but they were stained and dirty. The wood on the bottom of one of the twins bed broke in the middle of the night and the mattresses were paper thin. The pillows were a joke. Extremely uncomfortable! The kitchen was old and didn’t have all the essentials like dish towels. We didn’t even have a wine opener! The floors were so dirty that the bottom of the feet will turn black from walking from the bedroom to the bathroom. The Wifi was so slow. And lastly, the AC was all over the place, cold in some rooms and very hot in others. We couldn’t open windows because the place was surrounded by restaurants and the smell of food was bad. One night after getting back from dinner the whole unit had smoke. If we ever go back to Florence this will be the last place we stayed!
