this property was a diamond in the rough sort of speak. The rooms were great and the facilities were wonderful. we found ourselves right in the middle of everything close walk to great restaurants and great historical sites. 100% recommend this to anyone We’ll stay here again

Property was centrally located and they did recommend good restaurants. The room was decent and clean. The coffee and whatever they put out to eat were horrible. If you are a person who needs help with luggage stay somewhere else as steps up to elevator are tough. Staff was helpful but I wouldn’t stay here again.

A nice room with comfortable beds and cool air conditioning. The rooftop terrace is a nice amenity and the location is in the heart of old Florence. The staff are wonderful! The only issue is that water leaks from under the shower glass door if you aren’t careful. Also, it’s a €19 taxi ride to the rail station from there. It was a great value and we would stay again.

Great location a few minutes walk from the Duomo and also close to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchi. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Assisted in getting hard-to-get restaurant reservations. Note: as fully disclosed in the hotel details, there is a quite a set of stairs to climb before you get to the reception desk and rooms; there is a series of ramps to assist, but still a bit of a chore.

Nice clean place, in the middle of everything, 25 min walk to Santa Maria train station, staff are helpful. AC worked well during hot summer hours. Comfortable beds. Just be prepared for many steps to get to room

My family and I loved the modern bathrooms and the ornate/cool bedrooms. We had the Petunias and Magnolia rooms. The espresso machines and the bottles of wine were very much appreciated! My kids liked the library and the roof deck. Excellent central location, most of all!

The location is perfect. But if you are in need of any assistance securing assistance, it falls short. Initially the staff was welcoming and helpful, especially the housekeeping and evening manager/concierge. The day we were to leave the day manager,Barbara, represented she would secure a taxi to ensure we would make a tightly scheduled train. She also promised assistance with our baggage. When we returned, she collected the tax and then engaged in a phone call ignoring us. We were left to find housekeeping to assist with baggage. Flag down a taxi. We arrived at the station 15 minutes past the departure time I cannot recommend the hotel. It was poorly managed. I stayed at the hotel, 9 years ago under another management/ownership. It was well staffed and the stay was much more enjoyable.

The location is great. Walkable to everything. Barbara is super helpful. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly plus shower head switch was not working. It was addressed very quickly. There were dead roaches on the stairs to the hotel. The room was very pleasant and clean.

Great location and great AC on a super hot (near 100 degrees) week. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was very communicative and helpful. The fridge was handy to have. We had a later departure and they let us leave our bags and come back later to get them. I'd stay again for sure!

The rooms don’t match the pictures! Property is soooo dated and not clean! We were checked into a dirty room and they refused to refund me the money but offered a different room (larger). I had to move twice due to availability. Good location
