  • Located in the middle of Florence historic center, at 5 minutes from the train station, in the heart of the old district of S. Lorenzo, full of life. The apartment, on the third and last floor with elevator, is quiet, bright, panoramic and romantic. overlooking the rooftops of the city, the terrace has a great view of the monuments and hills. This apartment is in a prime location. Easily accessible to shopping, food and drink, and tours. Even in a high traffic area, the apartment is very quiet (with the exception of church bells lol).

Gaia was a great host and was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment was in a great location for walking to everything we did. Grocery stores, restaurants, and a pharmacy were close by. We felt very safe at the apartment and the elevator was very helpful for moving our luggage on check-in and checkout. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we go back to Florence.

Communication with the host and availability at the house was amazing. The property was one of the nicest we have stayed at. Incredibly clean and the location was out of this world convenient. Everything you can possibly need as a visitor to Florence and a guest at the home was provided for and thoughtfully provided. Beds were comfortable. Heating/AC worked great. Closet storage was fantastic. Only wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Don't miss booking this one. It is a keeper.

Gaia met us at the property and gave us a very thorough tour and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is very quaint and amazingly quiet though in busy neighbourhood. You can get anywhere quickly from here and there is an elevator.

There's no better place to get to know the city. Breakfast on the balcony with a view of the cathedral – it doesn't get any better than this.

Property is secure and comfortable. It is easily accessible to all Florence sites and museums. In the midst of activity but quiet inside with a great view of the city from terrace. We were able to walk everywhere. Would stay again if we return to Florence.

Wonderful location

Gaia was welcoming and delightful. The location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only comment is that although the second bedroom houses only a small bed the mattress was extremely hard. It more than suited my needs but the mattress needs an upgrade.

Perfect retreat in an amazing location

Nice apartment located right near the Medici Chapels and Mercato Centrale. Despite the busy area the apartment is very quiet and the terrace is amazing for morning coffee or an afternoon break. Host was very friendly and helpful! I’d definitely stay here on my next trip to Florence.

Best place to stay in Firenze!

This apartment feels like home away from home and provides a true Florentine experience! Step onto the sidewalk and you're among the lively and bustling crowds of San Lorenzo but sit on the rooftop terrace and enjoy peace and quiet, along with the bells of the Duomo and Medici chapel.

Great location, cozy place, nice view

The apartment had everything one needed for a nice stay. The elevator was about 10 steps up but cut a lot of distance from walking up. The location was great and we loved the terrace. We enjoyed some meals there since the kitchen had everything needed to cook dinner. Gaia was great.

Charming Stay in the Heart of Florence

I had the best time with my visit to Florence. The property had all the charm of home during the middle of the Renaissance. Location is amazing. I was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see in Florence. It felt like my home away from home. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy having an elevator with us being on the third floor. This made it easy for us to depart each day and move our luggage during our arrival and departure. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location

The property is in a great location with fantastic views over the rooftops of Florence and for viewing some of the sunset. Very close to the basilica, duomo, supermercato and leather market. Within walking distance of the ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. The apartment is clean and well kept with a washing machine and everything one Needs in a kitchen. A lovely Florentine city apartment. Makes one feel that one is part of the city.

A wonderful stay

Gaia’s apartment lived up to all my expectation. It had everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay. It was so quiet inside the apartment - amazing when you are in a very busy part of the city. I really appreciated the elevator after I’d been walking all day! For anyone security minded there will be no safety concerns at all - there is very secure access into the building and the apartment. A big thank you to Johnny for showing me around the apartment and explaining how everything worked. He was so helpful. I would definitely stay here again on another visit to the city.
