This hotel was amazing! It was right in the centre and an easy walk to all the sites. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast service was wonderful. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are ever in Florence.

Breakfast was nice. They allowed us to store our luggage for several hours after checking out which was a big help. The location is perfect for sightseeing as we were able to walk to everything: duomo, academia, Uffizi, etc.

The location is great. The room is quiet. The staffs are friendly. However, the elevator is tiny and slow. The toilet and sink in the bathroom are way too high. There is no bidet in the bathroom. Even so, its price is very reasonable for its location. If I ever visit Florence again, I might consider booking this hotel again.

Property is very old, the elevator is extremely small and slow and takes forever to get to your floor. We ended up taking the 3 stories of stairs to get to our room. Very basic in the rooms, not luxury at all however they were clean and had all the basics you would need. Lobby is very basic as well. Staff is very nice and helpful, called for taxis for us and answered all our questions. Great location, super close to Duomo and 10 min walk to the Uffizi and Academia. Breakfast buffet was awful, did not eat anything from it. Overall, the hotel needs some updates including the elevator and breakfast options along with updating the bathrooms in the rooms and the lobby but it was clean and convenient. Would not stay again.

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Florence

I love this hotel, the location is perfect and the view from our room was lovely. The rooms are grand and have wonderful high ceilings, and the whole place is very grand old Florence. The buffet breakfast provided every morning is beautiful and the staff at breakfast are so delightful, welcoming and kind. The lift is very tiny and as I don't like small spaces I walked up the grand stairs every day. Bella!

Nice welcome with a guide book, very useful. Good view of Medici Chapel too. Good location, nice room. Tiny lift, just fit 2 persons and luggage, breakfast poor. The breakfast room very small, freezing air conditioning at side of room making any hot food cold, getting English breakfast tea was like pulling teeth! Asked every day, eventually git one on last day- day 4! Been to cheaper hotels in Italy with much better set up and friendlier staff.

The hotel and all the staff was excellent. I'd definitely recommend staying. The standard double room wasn't large but felt lovely and the high ceilings made it feel special. The decor was clean and updated although as the internal ensuite bathroom had a non functional fan I've marked it down a little. Our room's window looked out to a back street with an ok city scape that was only spoilt by the ubiquitous air conditioning sounds. Annoying!

Perfect location! The front desk staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, especially Myrna and her colleague during breakfast. My only disappointment was that the a/c in the room was not working. When you are walking around the city in a 100 degree weather, you want to get to a room that does not make you sweat more than being outside. I sweat even after showering and while sleeping. The non-working a/c in the room was the only downfall during my visit to Florence.

Nicely property, clean but very small bedroom. Although front desk information confirmed that a wake up called did take place at 3am, no alarm sounded in the bedroom. When you politely said that if the alarm didn't sound in the room, it isn't a problem, then front desktop repeated that according to their information, it's worked. This sounds trivial but travellers rely on hotels alarm calls for ensures flights are caught.
