We felt right at home here, a perfect stay for a couple traveling (who got engaged in Florence this trip!!!) Gabriella was very friendly and chatted with us during breakfast. The breakfast is great and the rooftop is very nice to have. Be aware of the 80 steps to the top. We loved this place and will come back!

Loved my stay here - so comfortable and AMAZING breakfast! The terrace on the rooftop is also really quaint and has nice views of Firenze. Everything was so accessible and easy! Staff were there during the day from 8:30-2:00ish to assist with anything. Will definitely return!

An excellent bed and breakfast right next to the oldest public building in Florence. The host was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and the rooms were charming. I quite recommend this bed and breakfast.

The staff are what make this place a gem. We arrived a day late due to travel delays and had lost our luggage. The staff offered many resources for buying clothes, finding delicious meals, and even volunteered to make calls on our behalf to locate our luggage (eventually found!). Perfect location

Perfect location, close to the Uffizi and many restaurants. II Bargello was very clean and comfortable. Susanne went out of her way to be helpful with taxis and restaurant reservations.

Lovely Stay

Location is amazing. Owner/front desk was friendly and helpful. Would have loved more than two pillows on our bed. Bedspread looks a little worn. Four flights of stairs to walk each time to the room! Absolutely would recommend staying here.

The property is in a prime location. Very accessible to sites and attractions of Florence. We had the apartment which had a kitchen. It was very accommodating. Perfect place to stay in Firenze

Staying at Il Bargello was the best choice I could have made when coming to Firenze! Rooms were incredibly comfortable (air con and wifi both worked perfectly- a huge perk for any stay) and breakfast was a nice mix of coffees (graciously prepared by the hosts), pastries, yoghurts, etc. I was not bothered by the stairs (great practice for climbing il duomo). You’re within walking distance of everything. Would stay here again and again!

Ongoing construction of the property made it difficult to move around the property and the noise was bad as they began working early each morning we were there. But the apartment we stayed in was comfortable and clean and well stocked with breakfast items. The location is great, close to the Duomo and many great restaurants. I’m sure it will be great when the construction is complete.

Amazing place in Firenze's heart ❤️

It was a perfect experience for us, bery kind owners, we contact them just by messages because we were in at different times, but they kept us informed at all moments. The only point is that is in a Third floor without lift, bit they informed us and offer a cancellation if we nned it. So, we were in a very good location, near to all interesting places, in a house plenty of historical character. The breakfast was available at any time, with good quality and variety too. Thanks Gabriella for your hospitality.

Absolutely AMAZING stay, our favourite on our 3 week stay! We were greeted by Suzanne at the front desk who spoke great English which was super helpful, she offered us a map with tons of information in where to eat, what to see, and so much more. Breakfast was ready for us every morning, Suzanne went above and beyond to make us feel like we were on vacation but also, like we were at home. Comfy beds, beautiful Terrance with a table where you could enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset (highly recommend doing this with a pizza take away if you stay here) and quiet place where you didn’t hear people in the rooms next to you. Located on a little side street, near plenty of great restaurants and the Duomo. Would highly recommend booking your stay with Suzanne, at her B&B.

Really great service, clean and comfortable. The roof terrace was beautiful with a city view. They also had a laundry service that was great for me.
