La Maison du Sage’s staff greeted us on arrival, and escorted us to our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel has an upscale feeling, despite the vacant neighboring building. Everything was walkable from this location. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the family suite, which was amazing! Even better than the pictures!! Super spacious with a large entryway and living room. It had old historic charm with completely new and modern updates. Full size fridge, dishwasher, oven, range, and air conditioning.

Very clean and quiet

Amazing location just a walk away from Christmas market, we we’re here in December. Rooms were extremely clean, quiet at night, you couldn’t hear anyone else in the other rooms like at most hotels. The service was great, attentive and friendly. Wish we had planned to stay for a longer time here.

This is not just a hotel, reception greeted us in a friendly manner and our room got ready in few minutes to check-in. All the staffs are friendly and welcoming, you will feel you are in your home. Room was clean with a beautiful decorations. Breakfast was awesome and Acenzia is wonderful and caring when you have breakfast with an exceptional customer service. This hotel is a museum with plenty of places outside of room for relaxing and super close to everything in the beautiful city of Florence. We hope to have a chance to stay here again.

WOW! This art deco property was phenomenal. The room was exquisite and felt luxurious. I was incredibly sad when we had to check out. Biggest bed I think I’ve ever slept in and it was like a cloud. The staff were amazing and helped to arrange a cooking class for us as well.

Great value. Got the family suite plus two double rooms, which was perfect for 7 family members in total. Family suite had living, dining and kitchen space where we all could comfortably hang out and have breakfast. Wide street in front was convenient for taxis and loading and unloading luggage. Santa Croce area is a bit off the beaten path but easy walking to all of Florence's sights. Highly recommended.

Very nice. Mosquitoes we’re an area issue ….bathroom is small -no counter space and room had no drawers for clothes. Outstanding cleaning-lovely location-the larger rooms looked awesome!!!

We got upgraded complimentary to a beautiful room with a view of the Basilica of Santa Croce - it was amazing. The staff were really helpful and friendly. My only comment would be the breakfast was very limited and there was only one member of staff on duty to manage the requests. There was very little to go around. Other than this, it was a very pleasant visit and we’d come back again.

It was unclear initially how to check in since the reception desk is up a twisted stairway and not clear from the signage. This should be rectified. Also, breakfast is lovely if you get there early enough, before they start to run out of things...then they do not replenish. Annoying. Otherwise, all great. Would stay here again!
