The staff were truly wonderful at Hotel Piazza Pitti Palace and Letizia made sure we were completely welcomed and comfortable immediately on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. The location of the hotel is terrific, we were able to see so much of what Florence had to offer for dining and site seeing and the suites were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. 10/10 we will definitely be staying there again amazing birthday treat!

This was a last minute reservation in Firenze and we lucked out. The location is excellent, within a 3 minute walk of the Ponto Vecchio bridge (in the more interesting side). The room felt as if we were staying in a literal palace, with beautiful original art and delightful staff. Only one minor deficiency was the quality of the WiFi, but I suspect this is a regional issue. Would definitely come back here.

Bring wash clothes! A lot of deferred maintenence. Staff was super nice. Location was good. Shower handle, and fixture and toilet seat broken. Front door lock took about 10 minutes to unlock. Guy next door yelling - seemed like he was in my room. Bed was clean and comfortable.

I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was genuinely the most beautiful hotel room i’ve ever stayed in. It has a very italian feel (rustic, artistic and romantic) with modern bathrooms. The sauna was very much needed and the jetted bath was amazing. The staff as well were lovely and very accommodating. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay, thank you! I cannot wait to be back!

this is truly a masterpiece of a hotel. whoever designed and runs it must have a great taste. every touch is thought of. the interior, comfort, fresh flowers. if you care for esthetics please do yourself a favor and stay here. you are across palazzo but you feel like you are staying in it! super lovely stuff.

Love, love, love this place! Our room was work of art and so enjoyable. The staff is AMAZING - the gal at reception is so very sweet. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved our stay and our incredible room. Our balcony overlooking the street was the downtime we needed to relax in between exploration. The staff was incredibly accommodating and front desk went out of their way to help us make a train when there was a cab shortage.

Loved the room, loved the location. Directly across from Pitti Palace and within walking distance to many great sites. A quick five minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath suite which was huge and having two bathrooms was great. Didn’t have much contact with reception but enjoyed our stayed. Shopping and restaurants all around. Would stay again.

If you want to experience a taste of old world elegance for a nominal cost, and be within easy access to the Uffizi and Pitti Palace this is the place to stay. Easily walkable from the train station and perfectly situated directly across from the Pitti Palace. Sleep with the old world Masters surrounding you with authentic tempura frescos on the walls and ceilings. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were provided recommendations for local restaurants, sights to see and places to go that were not on the tourist tracks. If I had more time I would stay longer. It will definitely be on my 'places to return to' list.

Florence as it is imagined!

The hotel is beautiful. The antiques and art are unbelievable. Reception and managers all charming and helpful. Some minor items need repair (tile on bathroom floor). It is very clean, however and I appreciated the charm and beauty of staying in such a remarkable property.

Loved the property’s location, directly in front of the Pitti Palace. Less than 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, which connects to all of Florence. Did not like the condition of our room, and the experience we had when a leak was discovered in our room.

The room has good paint on the wall which looks beautiful! Room is clean but pretty old and not quiet, you can hear the voice from you neighbor. Staff service is limited as they are not at the hotel most of the time (I feel this property is more like a B&B than a hotel). Not easy to call taxi, so plan earlier when you have to catch a train.

All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. Directly across from the Pitti Palace, the location was perfect as it was out of the congestion in central Florence but no more than 10 minutes walk to all the central attractions over the Ponte de Vecchio bridge. The suite was incredibly well decorated and the bathroom luxurious! A wonderful location for a honeymoon or two seventy-year olds dream place!

This property has nice paint on the wall , it’s very beautiful. Room is clean but kind of old. Facility in the room is good, it has everything we need. Transportation is not easy!! You will need a taxi to the train station, but it’s not easy to call a taxi there. I almost missed the train when I left the hotel. I asked the staff to call a taxi for me , and she did it for me. But taxi didn’t come! And I asked another staff to call taxi for me, she said “no taxi is available”. Then we have to stand in front near the gate to call taxi by ourselves. Fortunately we got one and arrived the train station 3 mins before the departure time. So , remember to plan earlier if you take train!
