This property was extraordinary and the photos, although beautiful, do not do it justice. The staff are wonderful, the restaurant is exceptional, the rooms are luxurious and the property is magical.

It was a dream to stay on this property. It has the most beautiful views of Florence. The property itself is so picturesque it didn’t feel real being there. I loved the dogs on the property. The entire staff was so welcoming and attentive, especially Sam who was amazing! Highly recommend staying here. There’s no other place like it.

I was such a beauty with an amazing restaurant attached that served amazing cuisine. Our room had such a beautiful view and we were only a short trip away from the main city. The staff were so accommidating and helpful for whatever we needed.

A lovely view and stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this family owned and lived in property. It has been maintained very well with various areas for sitting and admiring the lovely views. We ate in the restaurant twice which we enjoyed.

Beautiful romantic with amazing views. Definitely for nature lover. If you drive you have to know they the roads are very narrow and steep at some parts. Villa is dared to find as it is behind a gate in a wall. Too far to walk to city venter of that is where you want to be. I loved being there for the relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is amazing. The AC didn’t work in our room but the staff did everything in their power to fix it and it finally did work. The breakfast buffet was bad. They need to do way better. We’ve had better breakfast selections at a $150 per night hotel. Overall amazing though.

Subject: Request for Partial Refund – Villa Le Fontanelle (October 7–10, 2026) I am requesting a partial refund for a three-night reservation at Villa Le Fontanelle in Florence, booked through Expedia. During our stay, we experienced serious shower problems, including a lack of hot water and interruptions to the water supply. The water did not resume promptly, making it impossible for the guests to shower properly. The guests reported the problems to hotel staff repeatedly throughout the stay, but they were never resolved. The hotel acknowledged a plumbing issue. We also have video evidence documenting the water supply interruption. I understand that the guests stayed in the room for all three nights, and I am not seeking a full refund. However, access to reliable running water and hot water is a fundamental requirement of hotel accommodation, not an optional amenity. The guests paid for a comfortable stay but could not use one of the most basic facilities properly. Given the repeated inconvenience and the hotel's failure to resolve the issue, I believe a 30% partial refund of the affected room's accommodation charges would be a fair and reasonable resolution. I would appreciate Expedia's assistance in reaching a fair resolution
