"The room wasn't as clean as my last stay there in the of last year. "

"This is a very nice hotel. The room was very clean & the bed extremely comfortable. We loved almost everything about the hotel. The first thing we found that we did not like was the person who checked us in, they were so soft-spoken that you could not hear them. Very nice & friendly just kept having to ask can you repeat that I can't hear you. Other than that, checking in was fast and easy. We did come down to having dinner & a few drinks. Well, that is where the hotel has the opportunity to really shine but did not. The bartender was also the cook! We had two drinks, a burger with fries & 6 wings, $115.00, the bun on the burger was burnt & the food was cold. It took over a hour and a half for us to get the food, after our first drink it took 20 minutes to get another one. We came down for breakfast the next morning where they seemed to have a good selection. However, the staff were too busy talking with each other to keep food out. Keep in mind there were not a whole lot of people in the breakfast area at this point. They seemed to really like bacon because they made sure that pan was slap full, but not the eggs or potatoes. If you are looking for grits or oatmeal don't waste your time, they are instant & they don't have oatmeal & the water is warm not hot, no microwave, good luck finding pepper & salt. They have a communal set, but they don't work. It is a very nice hotel but they need to work on having bartenders & cook staff if these areas if they are open."

"The Managers are Horrible!! They were nasty, knowingly liars, who tried to FORCE us to electronically sign a very large document. They REFUSED to give us a hard copy to read, and cancelled our stay ,(with the reservation & NO Refund), because we refused to electronically sign. They threatened us with the police if we didn’t leave in 10 minutes. We have stayed there no less than 10 times in the past. Brenda, in the breakfast area is one of the hardest working & kindest people ever. But the management (including corporate who never answered a VM), were the WORST! Even Expedia had a poor service response when trying to get my refund!"

"All was good only thing missing possibly was coffee. I brought my own grounds but only equipped with a Kerig with no Kerig coffee singles. Also no communication on a question about dropping a car at the property before check in and no text back when we left confirming our departure as stated in the house manual."

"Looks like the owners are doing a lot of work on the property however, cleanliness is doable but not done. Our room was supposed to have 2 beds in it but the first room we got looked like someone was still in it. Unmade bed, clothes on chair and a huge fan in the middle of the room. Second room, single bed and ac wasn’t producing and it stunk. I had to show the clerk that I paid for a room with 2 beds and he finally said they didn’t have one available. The 3rd room looked ok, ac cranking, smelled ok, but the bed was in sorry shape. Couldn’t sleep. Didn’t want to touch anything because of the filth. No soap or amenities. 2 good towels and a brown/supposed to be white one. We did get the room next door to make up for the 2 bed situation…at no charge! Checking my credit card shortly to be sure we were not charged. Oh, and, did I mention I had to be at the hospital for a lymphoma biopsy at 6:30 am. "
