Monet on the Bay (Both sides)- Wedding? Family Reunion? Birthday? Or just a great time to make wonderful memories with your large Family?? Bring the Camera, we have the backdrop! This Fabulous Duplex Home sits in a quiet community nestled on Mobile Bay, 18 miles away from the hustle and bustle of the beach, and 11 miles from The Tanger Outlet Mall. The Backside of the home faces the west so you can watch the Sun Set every day across the water from one of the many porches, swings, the pier, the yard, or out of the many West facing windows from inside the home. The homes lot is HUGE giving you a feel of seclusion! The community Boat launch is just down the road, then park the boat on your private pier (there is NO boat lift at this property).

With 2 Bedrooms 1.5 Bath on one side (Monet on The Bay I), 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths on the other side (Monet On The Bay II); together this Beautiful Home can accommodate the entire family! The two homes connect with a large Deck that boasts a relaxing Hot Tub to soak in, and many seats to enjoy the views.

The 2-bedroom side (Monet On The Bay I) is equipped with an elevator to access each floor. On the Main Level is the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The upper level contains 2 bedrooms, Guest Bedroom #1 with a Twin over Full Bunk Bed and the Primary Bedroom with an Adjustable Base King Size Bed, and access to the large screened in deck. The bathroom is shared by both bedrooms with a shower. This side sleeps 5 persons.

Monet On The Bay II is all on the main level. The Large Primary Suite entails a King Size Bed and private full bath. Guest Bedroom #1 holds a Queen Size Bed. Guest Bedroom #2 has 2 Twin Over Full Size Bunk Beds for the kiddos. The Guest Bedrooms share the full bathroom just off the living area with a Jetted Tub/ Shower Combo. Both Kitchens are fully equipped to conquer all meals. Plus, each side of the home has a full-size washer and dryer as well! This Will Be The Perfect Home For Years To Come!!

Relaxing stay

Property was perfect for our short getaway. Dock was a nice feature that made for relaxing evenings. Good features and plenty of room. Another good VRBO experience.

Relaxing

We absolutely loved the property in the view. We were able to watch the Dolphins every morning in the beautiful sunsets in the evening. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was very peaceful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I enjoyed my stay at Monet. There were only one or two problems the freezer in unit one was frozen shut and could not be used the tv was not working but it was fixed when called and Kaeck was missing just minor stuff but for the most part, it was a great experience.

THANKSGIVING 2023

We rented both sides of this duplex and it was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacay. Both homes are spacious and inviting. Also well appointed. Everyone loved fishing from the pier and catching crabs in the crab pots. Would highly recommend!

Our experience was beyond great. The location was great. Waking up to the views of the beach was a plus. The owner came by and they were very friendly. The Place was very spacious. I really don’t have anything negative to say. I will definitely be booking again.

This was a great location for our family! It was peaceful, spacious, clean. We had a water leak in the 2 story unit; maintenance had it corrected and cleaned up within an hour or less. The screened in porches were perfect for relaxing! Even enjoyed a small pod of dolphins near the dock

Beautiful!

This is such a beautiful property and the pictures don’t do it much justice. The sunrises and sunsets alone are worth it! Some minor inconveniences or previous damages were addressed by the property manager who was very attentive. I definitely recommend anyone staying here as my family wished they could have stayed longer.

Great place with only 1 exception

We stayed here because the dock was large enough and low enough to fit several boats. When we got there the end of the dock was broken and unusable. This made it almost impossible for members of the family to get on and off our boats. Everything else was great. If I would have known about the dock I would have not chosen this place. We needed boat access

Amazing experience

It was our first time family reunion - we celebrated the oldest and youngest of our family bday, place was safe for our toddler and kids in the family - it was an amazing experience, quiet and relaxed place but still close to the city (20 mins approx.) The only downside but not a big issue was the Grill - it was a gas grill (empty) and not cleaned / I asked the type of grill before going to the place and I was informed charcoal. But it was not a problem, we enjoyed our stay and exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the cleaning team, they came back to leave more towels without us asking. We definitely coming back.

Great Bay House Experience

Monet on the Bay is an excellent place to enjoy the very unique experience that is the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. The first week was with family who had never been to the Bay before. They had a great time! The second week our group was myself with my three siblings. Our parents were from Mobile and we experienced summers in our grandparent’s cottage at Mullet Point in the 50’s & 60’s. The getting together was the best part of course, but the accommodations, including the wharf, excellent fishing and crabbing made for a stellar experience. A critical requirement for the stay was an elevator to accommodate one of us who is wheelchair bound. The elevator worked and did the job we needed and is most appreciated. The rental management team at Celebrity was great. I highly recommend Monet on the Bay!

Fun on the bay

Only negative issue was plumbing issues. Could not use shower in two story unit due to leaks which left us having to share the two baths in other unit. Problems with toilet handles not flushing when we got there but rental company sent repairman out immediately. With 14 people it made it a little hectic. However, we really enjoyed the shady outdoor area, the pier, and the fact that the owners supplied water toys. The camps were updated and decorated nicely. Would stay there again if those issues repaired.

Great Property for a Large Family

There are only 3 larger beds so some adults had to sleep on the bund beds, but other than that, this was a great place for our family aging 2 to 65. The other possibly negative thing is it is located about 20 minutes from anything, so you do have to drive to entertainment, dinner, etc. That didn't bother our family, but it may be an issue for others. However, we loved it and We will use this location again if we are in the area. Thanks!
