"The blue door is amazing place to stay.The place was clean and tidy equipped with plenty of beach towels and towels for showering. Kyle was a great host I couldn’t shut the lock box and he was out in the evening and showed me what to do.You couldn’t get a better place for the beach not even a 2mins walk to the beach.The shops are just round the corner as well as Massey the supermarket, their are some great restaurants in hole town."

"Great location for the beach and town. Some road noise from loud exhausts and high revving vehicles at unsociable hours adversely affected our sleep."

"The rooms have been considerably upgraded and are much more comfortable than before Marriott took over. But the use of buffet-dinner arrangements at premium prices is disappointing and not good value for money. You don't pay these sorts of prices to have to serve yourself. Apart from the room renovation the hotek is not much improved from the Elegant days but is much more expensive. "

"Great location on the West coast. Unfortunately a huge hotel is being built around the property and the workers are working almost 24/7. They make a lot of noise with their equipment and often block the driveway. However, great restaurants and bars are nearby and you can snorkel around the coral reef located right at the little beach. "

"Quiet residential location and lovely neighbours, no through road so hardly any traffic going past. Great location and very easy walking distance to beach. It was also great to have the outside space as well as the covered terrace. The housekeeper Mary was lovely and an absolutely fantastic cleaner. Very easy contact with the owner.We did have a problem with the main fridge in our third week , but there was a second one so didn’t cause major problems, and the owner is looking into this.We did have a car but there was a bus stop near the end of the road.We had a fabulous time and hope to go again."

Spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you need. Great location to beach, bars and restaurants."
