Much Needed Getaway

I found that this property is very functional and in a fantastic local. Walking distance from everything, yet out of the way enough, to provide privacy. Very happy we found this hidden gem.

Great location

Unit was perfect for 2 people. Everything was super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were lovely. Location can’t be beat, just across the street from the beach. We could hear the waves from the back porch. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location

Across the street from beach access and within easy walking distance to downtown. Apartment was clean and well stocked with essentials. Check in process was easy. Property manager support was excellent and timely. Restaurants downtown were excellent. Easy commute to Charleston, Plantation Tours, and Angle Oak Tree.

We loved the location of our house to the beach and town center. House was perfect for 2 people, little too small for 3. The front porch was a perfect place for morning coffees. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Lovely gem

This is our 2nd stay at this place. We absolutely love the convenience of being across the street from beach access and the place is super cute. A nice walk to the shops and restaurants provides some exercise and never having to move our car once we arrive. We plan to visit annually.

Overall great place

This is as advertised. A small lower level apartment that is perfect for two people. While you cannot see the ocean from the porch, the beach is a one minute walk. This rental suited our needs perfectly as we use our accomodations to suit our activities, not the other way around.

Perfect little rental so close to the beach!

We had an excellent time at this rental. It was quaint and absolutely perfect for our desire to be steps from a great stretch of beach! The place was very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Easy walking distance to restaurants/bars of downtown Folly Beach. Couldn't have asked for anything more, thank you!

We had the perfect weekend at Folly Beach. House was great for two, beautifully renovated inside. Close to the beach. I am definitely recommending to my friends for a perfect getaway for two! I will definitely be back.

Awesome as ALWAYS!

This is such a nice, clean, well located home. Deb and her husband are such great innkeepers. We have visited on a number of dates at various times during the year and the home is always pristine, improved, etc. It’s SUPER convenient to the beach it’s like oceanfront.

My wife and I stayed here for our 6th Anniversary and we had a great time! Right across from beach access and walking distance to pretty much everything! We only drove to dinner once because my wife was in heels lol. The place was clean and perfect size for the 2 of us. When it was quiet at night, we could hear the waves crashing with the window open!

Great rental!

I stayed here with my two children. The location was perfect! Neighborhood was convenient to everything, safe, and just steps from the beach! The apartment was decorated very nicely and was super clean! It is on the smaller side but was perfect for us. There's a nice parking area and rocking chairs in front patio. The owner even provided nice extras such as laundry detergent, coffee, etc. it was well supplied with all the basics. I would definitely recommend!!

Smoky and mildew smell

This has a great beach location. The apartment is literally in the basement. The floors are painted cement. The hosts definitely tried to make it look nice. However, the floor in the bathroom is mildewy. Unfortunately, the apartment also smelled of smoke. The host offered for us to leave if we wanted - we had no place else to go for our vacation and the host offered a spray odor block. If you can handle the smokey smell and you don't need to spend time in the apartment, it's fine. We loved visiting Charleston and spent some time on the beach as well.

Great location to the beach and center street

Very comfortable and quaint cottage with easy access to the beach and downtown. We loved having a washer and dryer and a pack and play as well. This place was perfect for 2 people and an infant. The Only negatives: there was no umbrella or beach chairs, as was promised. The bed is soft, but noisy and obviously needs replacing. But these are little things. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!!

Location can't be beat, but the unit is very utilitarian

The location of this property is great--just steps from the beach, and close enough to walk into town. The unit itself, however, is very sparse--a yoga mat as the kitchen rug, slippery and hard outdoor rugs used indoors to cover concrete floors (I am guessing this helps with the cleaning). Walls are cinder block. The kitchen has the bare essentials and not much else. We appreciated the extra space in the back to store beach items and extras, as the bedroom is very small with no drawers or closet. The unit served its purpose, but when we return we will try to find something more "comfy."
