"We had a very small apartment. It could have been cleaner, the toilet was smelly and not clean, the shower was very hard to use and the bedding looked grubby. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were woken one night at 2pm by the sound of two men talking in the courtyard and the smell of their cigarettes filling our room."

"We spent an idyllic week at Residence Terra Rossa in April. We found the landscaped gardens inside the gated property to be delightfully peaceful with beautiful views of the coast below. "The town is all hillside levels. This property was walkable to main area of Taormina. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and tasty assortment of pastries and cakes, breads etc. Very clean. Has the aesthetics of an old villa. We were in room 23 which opened to a big shared terrace with sea view. Room is small but it was fine. Very happy with my choice. Bus depot was walkable. I would recommend this hotel. There is no pool or restaurant on this property but location was great. Thank you!"
