"From the moment we arrived, the hotel and staff were amazing. We arrived many hours before check in after 22hours of travel and had, first, a bite to eat. Our room was ready right after. The room was darling, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was amazing and staff was incredible. We highly recommend Botania and will likely return to bring the rest of my family. "

" Staff unhelpful and rude, we booked 2 rooms a long time ago, unpon arrival they put us all in one room (4 adults). They had over booked, we were very upset, no air con and room was a good 7 mins walk from pool etc. After putting up a fight and whistling a lot of time they put us in correct rooms the next day, we had paid for 2 rooms and they did not accept responsibility for their mistake. "None of the picture's of this property are current. The hotel is in extreme decline. The lily pond with flowing water was not working except to breed mosquitoes. Our bathroom window was broken, there is no wifi in rooms. The pools have mold, extremely slippery tile and broken grating surrounding pool. The gardwns were unkempt and grass was dry and brown. There is no restaurant at hotel. There is no beach shuttle at hotel. Mask were not required while serving yourself from uncovered breakfast...

"Enjoyed our stay at Sorriso, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is lovely. We stayed in the annex building and found the room to be a little outdated, however, this seems to be relatively common for Ischia. Would recommend to others looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Forio."

"I can't give it a terrible review because they switched my rooms the next day. BUT, the first room had a gas leak. I could smell it, and they switched us to a tiny room that smelled musty and had one tiny window. So we left the door open but all the mosquitoes got in. The property hasn't been maintained so that's why the reviews are not great. It's quite sad, because the outdoor pools "look" nice, but the tiles are coming off.
