"Absolutely loved our stay here. This was our honey moon and it couldn’t be better the suite was gorgeous with a balcony and the most stunning views. The staff speak English and Portuguese and were friendly and helpful and more than you could ask for, and the food was delicious, best selection of local produce you could ask for. "Perfect location for tourist activities. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and very helpful. We appreciated their English language skills because our Portuguese is very limited. The hotel is of another era and transported us back in time with its old world charm, although maybe a little faded from its heyday. The many historic photos of the hotel and others in the same hotel group were fun to look at. The breakfast was VERY good with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The room included an entrance area separating the bathroom and bedroom, and were well appointed. We felt pampered. We also had a nice view of the downtown area and beyond from our room. We would definitely stay again on a return trip to Coimbra!"
