A short distance out of the small city of Milton, WI is a neat old wood covered bridge. It provides a little used road over a small meandering stream. On this Winter day we received over a foot of snow. The white flakes and the red bridge created one of my favorite Americana photos. The tree lined snowy path provides a surreal and wintery feel.

"For the price, this hotel was a good value. There was some delayed maintenance, but it was clean, quiet, the staff was pleasant and attentive and it was conveniently-located. The pool and hot tub were clean, as well. "

"The Abbey is the perfect little getaway. That side of the lake is nice and quiet, compared to the craziness of the downtown area. We were able to walk for ice cream, dinner, and the beach all from the hotel's front steps. We will be coming back. "
