Walking in, it seemed average but nice. For a last minute booking was satisfying. But once in our room, we were pleasantly surprised at the clean and comfortable room. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, and LARGE jetted bathtub. The complimentary cleansers and lotion were bath and body works, the extra mirror for makeup was great, and the bed was super comfortable. We have been staying at the Waterbury for years! It's one of the best places to stay in Door County in the summer because it is in the heart of the action! We love the outdoor pool and picnic areas! Such a great place for a family. We have space to spread out and we feel at home here! The staff is beyond friendly and kind. For instance, we are not coffee drinkers and I left a note by the keurig type machine requesting 2 teas for the 2nd night of our stay (we only had 1 tea and 5 coffees)...
