"We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!"

"We had trouble with the tv as there were no instructions. The grill for the cold air intake for the furnace had come undone and was hanging down . It was like that upon our arrival . It was not a problem though. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the light in the loft and the view."

"Amazing bluff view of whitewater cove on 2 sides, lovely and spacious studio with windows on 2 walls and an awesome deck. Sunny but windy during our stay so only short stays on the deck but view from inside was at least as good! Dan was a terrific host and very responsive. We hope to come back soon!"

"My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,...

"Converted the dance studio was a very cool and unique stay. My partner and I and our dog had a great time exploring all of the neighboring towns- everything was 6-15minutes away. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Only one watch out- if you like to sleep in pitch black just be mindful that the main bedroom only has a 3/4 high wall and there is a sunlight in the roof so it will be light in the morning. We didn’t mind, but the host did thoughtfully provide eye masks if needed."

"We had such a lovely time in this unique vacation rental! Staying in the old lighthouse was very charming and access to the roof with views was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. This is the kind of place I always hope for when looking on vrbo - character, charm, and also easy access. The room was smaller than anticipated, but with just the two of us we didn't mind at all. "It's a beautiful 2 br 1 bath apt above a retail store on Main St. Just the two of us as our friends contracted covid. It's up some stairs, but perfectly located on the edge of town overlooking the pacific ocean. The juvenile sparrow who lives just next door spent most of the day chirping for his/her parents, and sitting on the railing of our deck. persistent, but not annoying. Highly recommend."

"Property owner never provided check in information, went by around 3:15 to check to see if there was information on site and the property was a mess inside. Someone was still there, and the place was dirty. Contacted Orbitz who was unable to get ahold of them either (no information on the website) and they gave me permission to find another spot, which on a Saturday night in the summer wasn't easy.
