"Overall we’d recommend this place as an affordable place to lay your head in a really beautiful town. Others have mentioned that it’s an old house, and with that comes character and sometimes things you’re not used to. If old houses are your bag, this will suit you just fine. "
"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

Modern, cozy home in private beach community Admirals Cove
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time in Admiral Cove! House is centrally located on the island. Close to a ton of fun adventures.Accommodations were excellent! Everything was as described and the wildlife in the area is amazing. Would definitely recommend house in admiral cove to anyone staying on Whidbey."
"Very nice clean hotel. Nice rooms with beautiful views. Great shower and comfortable bed. It is an older building so ask for 3rd floor or you will hear people above you.... Short walk to downtown...."
"The house was very nice. It isn't evident from the photos, but it's a duplex unit comprising half of a house, separated from the other half by double-locking doors. The rooms were spacious and the view can't be beat! You are situated right on the waterfront. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the marine traffic heading to Seattle. We saw two different pods of porpoises swim by. The rooms in this house are awash in sunny light. The kitchen was well-appointed. Check-in and check-out procedures were clear and the one time we reached out with a question, the hosts answered prompty. We had a great stay and would definitely rent this home again. Thanks!"
Beach Lookout Retreat by AvantStay | Rooftop Views
10/10 Excellent
"The place was beautiful with stunning views and felt very welcoming. It was very clean and had so much space. There were 8 of us total and it never felt crowded. We loved every minute of it. The fire pit and hot tub added a lot of extra fun to our stay. "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house on Whidbey Island. We enjoyed the views of the Sound from the couch as well as the beautiful blooming lavender. The accommodations were very comfortable and we didn't run into any practical items that we wished we had. The jets were not practicing in the area while we were there, so it was a very quiet neighborhood for us. "
