"Bedding was clean and comfortable. Drawers were dirty, something aplashed on the wall. Have stayed here before and was much cleaner, this time I wasn't impressed. Staff waa pleasant. Heating unit was noisy."

"The room was very clean, and it did not have any strange smells. The motel is a little dated, but very clean, TV works well, and it is in a great area of town. Many restaurants near by and close to the 17N. This was my second time staying at the Northlander, and I will be back again. I received a very warm welcome as well. I travelled as a single woman and felt very safe."

"The Hotel was centrally located and had some nice amenities including a breakfast bar with Eggs, Sauasage, Hash Browns, etc. The room we had was ok, modern and clean. The floors seems cheaply done and the office chair should be replaced for fear of falling backwards. The biggest disappointment was the bed and pillows. The bed was uncomfortable ans so rickety that any movement sounded like an adult film. The pillows, although plenty of them, were the size of throw pillows and very flat. Next time in the Soo we will try somewhere else. "
