Honestly, you get what you pay for. The room was clean with fresh towels and toiletries. The hotel was very outdated and I had cords hanging down from my television. I think they waited to turn our AC on in the room, because it was very warm and stuffy when we first arrived, but when we got back to the room after dinner, the room was comfortable. The location is very convenient to the interstate and to Carowinds.

We have stayed here several times on our way to and from florida. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. There is a great Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot. And there is a Culver's just around the corner. Also situated so you do not have to go back out onto the main highways.

Staff was very pleasant. The room was very clean. The only hiccup was the refrigerator wasn’t that cold. Eateries’s nearby gas stations nearby. I would highly recommend this location
