"This property is in terrible condition. The doors are rusty, the parking lot is in shambles, the paint is chipping off. It is musty and dingy. The staff were kind and pleasant. "

"We’ve stayed at a number of places in Fort Pierce and St. Lucie and The Hutchinson was one of the nicer ones. Beds were good, wi-fi okay, and everything worked well. Basic breakfast included in room cost. Washer and dryer on location. A couple of fun restaurants that are walkable. The best parts were the hotel’s small pool, private beach and fishing pier and the covered deck…great places to sit and relax. We’d stay again."

"Reserved ocean front balcony & got a partial view of the inlet & no balcony. It appears I paid over $150 more that the room I got would normally cost. Room had coffee, but with the poor lighting I used my cell phone light to make the coffee. Shower has been redone & looked great - still need to add a shelf & find a profesiona painter."

"The room looked exactly as it does in the photos. It was cute and clean. The bed is a double I think - felt small, but we’re used to a king. They have enough plates, cups, etc for 2 people. No blow dryer available. You can walk to the beach which was very nice and not crowded at all. Theres also a restaurant, Sharky’s, that's in walking distance. It’s a short drive to downtown Fort Pierce. "

"Ridiculous to be charged parking & resort fee! Again, ridiculous! There's enough parking available for rooms offered. It's quite a stretch to call it a resort! However, the room was very nice. Staff? What staff? Others there tried excessively to get ahold of someone to help them! Thankfully, I didn't have an issue getting into my room. "

"Did not live up to the description in the listing. The check in and check out times 4:00 and 10:00. We arrived in area an hour early and would’ve had to pay $50 + tax for the extra time. The exterior wasn’t shown in the listing and understandable. I will add pictures if I can of the rundown condition and filth. The floor made our socks black from filth. In no way was there an “ocean breeze” to enjoy. The “private beach access” was past the dumpster, down the street and through thick vegetation. There was no glimpse of the beach from this poorly maintained hotel. The room was minute with little room to move but had a comfortable bed and good tv. It had some cute features but was a disappointment from the photos on the listing. "
