The Inn at Old Nauvoo

"We loved the staff and our room. It was very clean. The only criticism that I have is that the breakfast area was incredibly small for the amount of people that were in there you could not move around? Sometimes there wasn’t enough food the last day we were there, we couldn’t even get into the breakfast room because of the amount of people. We had very little for breakfast every morning. We were there for four mornings and people were taking such enormous amounts of food. I didn’t like pouring my orange juice out of a gallon container that four kids had just done before me. It was very unsanitary. They would reach into the muffins and they would reach into the bagels and touch them and look at them and then put them back. also, we thought it was quite strange that the lady who was shutting the door at 8:45 was so adamant and kicking people out. The room needs to be at least three times the size for the amount of people that were in there every morning and breakfast should be at least one more hour long to accommodate everyone."

"The receptionists were wonderful. Because we were not sure if we could check in on time, I called and explained our time issues over the phone with the first receptionist. She was very understanding of our situation and assured me that all would be well by doing the checking that way. When we arrived later that night, everything was indeed ready for us. The second receptionist knew exactly who we were and received us as if we were old friends already. The next morning, our family enjoyed a great breakfast with a menu our grandchildren loved. The 2 reserved bedrooms were perfectly clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit Nauvoo, in Illinois, with its pageants. The proximity of the hotel at Fort Madison makes it very convenient."

"The house was the perfect size for our family of 10. It was very clean and well furnished for and supplied accommodating our family. We stayed there while participating in the Gold Cast of the pageants. It was 7 mins to the HQ and about 12 mins to the stage. As a tip, while we didn’t order delivery from Walmart, the app said it was in the delivery zone of the Keokuk store. Jordan was great to work with!"

"Beautiful country location! Comfortable and spacious for our bigger family. When our I usual code didn’t work to get into the house Laura responded quickly and got us a new code that worked! We enjoyed our time there"

"What a treat it was to stay in this fun apartment! The prison decor was very cute, it stayed right in theme. The space was great, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the kitchen had everything you needed. And Rebecca was a great host and communicate communicated quickly. We would certainly stay again!"
