"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"Fantastic. Will look to stay again"

"The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

"Stayed as a large family for a long weekend. The grandchildren loved the garden. The main house was great, the weather was perfect so we mainly used the kitchen and outside garden dining table. All four bedrooms in the main house are bright and well furnished. The bedrooms in the annexe are more basic but fine for just sleeping in. The host was always available and responded to the couple of queries we had immediately."

"Had a lovely stay. Cottage was brilliant. This was a really good base for exploring the area! Lots to see and do. Lovely pub in walking distance. Cottage has a lovely cozy feel, lovely view and nice outdoor areas. Private parking. Felt private but not isolated. Highly reccommend, we would definitly stay again! "

"Me and my husband stayed here for a few days for his birthday and we wished we’d stayed all week! The barns are beautifully decorated inside with all of the amenities you could possibly need. The space and views outside were stunning and the whole stay was so peaceful. We were able to take our dog on walks across the fields and didn’t meet another soul. It was perfect for our dog to totter around outside while we enjoyed the BBQ and the views. We ate breakfast at the farm shop behind the barn...

"Great location with available parking. A couple minutes walk to the high street. Cottage was beautifully decorated and rooms were comfortable and clean. Really wished we could have stayed longer to make the most of this lovely cottage"

"Perfectly located and charming Upper Slaughter cottage within walking distance to Lords of the Manor, Lower Slaughter and Bourton-on-the-Water. Clean, modern bathrooms and kitchen and a lovely garden out back for al fresco dining. We had three adults and one teen and there were plenty beds - twin beds are best for children. Appreciated the nespresso machine and pods, too. "
