"What a hidden gem this was! Once checked in we felt that we made an excellent choice for our 3 night stay in Valletta. Conveniently nestled among bars and cafés with walking distance to the famous St Johns Co-Cathedral, the Grand Masters Palace, the Barraka Gardens and more.
The view from the rooftop pool is an Oasis and cannot go without saying for the spa on the lower level with its grotto vibes.

"The most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything is absolutely perfect here. "This was a beautiful hotel with clean, quiet, spacious rooms. The pool area, with an expansive view of Valetta, is gorgeous, and the hotel is conveniently located near the ferry terminal to Valetta. It's also a reasonably quick cab ride from Mdina and a less-than-30-minute walk to Balluta Bay. I would absolutely stay here again. "
"My wife and I were on the 4th floor where there is a frosted glass landing outside the elevator by the door. Those of a nervous disposition, though, should not be put off. The bathroom was very large and clean, with the shower (having both an handle held and overhead shower head) being very enjoyable. "Small, boutique apart-hotel centrally located in a quiet and charismatic part of Sliema. Sliema’s main shopping areas and the waterfront promenade (for the water taxi to Valletta), Balutta Bay or St. Julian’s/Paceville are all easily reachable by foot within a 15-30 minutes. We had a car and always found (free) parking in the streets around, never more than 100m away. All staff encountered were exceptionally friendly and responsive. "Beautiful property and exceptional service in a brilliant location. There is nothing I can fault. We had an Executive room with balcony and although it was quite small, it had every convenience possible. Our room (430) had views either way when on the balcony. One was the marina and the other way was the fountain. Thank you Phoenicia for a wonderful stay. "
