"Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!"

"Wonderful stay. The room was nice and ours felt secluded, which is what we wanted. We had a small pool and the main pools were also nice. The main lobby/ reception/ restaurant were very nice and the restaurant itself had great food for breakfast and dinner. There isn’t much around the hotel, or we didn’t know much, so we ended up eating at the restaurant multiple times. "We stayed 4 days in this magnificent property. Property is huge and as pictured, with many rooms we hardly used other than to pass through in awe. Only problem was the hot water service to two of the four ensuites was not working. The host promptly arranged for it to be reset each day but to no avail. I have no doubt they will have it fixed for future guests given the quality, service and attention we received. An amazing place to stay, in a non touristy and authentic Italian town. "
