"Did not try the breakfast, parking was safe, staff was cordial. The facilities were on the "aged" side and this was to be understood based on the age of the facility.
However, waking up at 2:00AM to use the restroom and finding what looked to be a baby roach crawling on the underside of the toilet lid was not expected. Again, waking up at 7:30AM to shower, dress, and check out I did not expect to see a larger roach crawling on the bathroom's sink wall, which I tried to crush with a wad of toilet paper but it evaded me and crawled up under the blow dryer wall outlet out of sight. Then 3 minutes later another very small species was walking on the sink counter and I managed to crush it and into the toilet I chucked it. This may be the only room in the entire place that has this issue... but they need to get an exterminator out to that room.
By the way... I seal all of my items in airtight bags prior to entering any hotel now days... so my personal items managed to keep from becoming any "transport for pests" to anyplace I go or am returning to. I recommend that for any traveler now days. "
