"Late booking for a single night, so I am very thankful the cottage was available. We were coming from a wedding in Sisterdale so arrived late - around midnight. First issue was the inconsiderate guest in the Tesla who took up two parking spaces leaving us nowhere to park without blocking everyone but in the driveway. Second issue is there is a lack of signage and a visible path or walkway to the cottages. The landscaping while very lush in the daylight is too overgrown and made it difficult to find our way to the front door of the cottage. Once inside all was fine, except pillows on the bed are too firm and uncomfortable. Interesting place out of a Grimm's fairy tale, if you are looking for something off the beaten path with an abundance of German-inspired decor this is the place."

"Nice, secluded spot with beautiful views! The cabins are super cute and have every thing you need! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a weekend with friends! They are pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog. They have donkeys and horses on the property you can feed carrots to and they may even let you pet them! We had a great time! The only peice that was a bit difficult is the grass areas. It’s wild Texas prairie so full of stickers which made it tough to take the dog potty -but we made do. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Fredricksburg and we will definitely be back!! Hosts are very welcoming and communicative"
