"Lady at the front desk was absolutely rude and unhelpful. I had paid for my room already, had the receipt, saw the charge on my account but she insisted I hadn't paid. She would not give me my room key and would not get the manager. I was forced to pay again and involve expedia. Expedia contacted the front desk at the hotel and after making them wait (and me) for over 30 mins, told Expedia she was the only one working and too busy to answer their questions. Keep in mind I was standing in the lobby the whole time and no one was there checking in but me."

"The room, itself, was clean, however, the entire facility is being renovated and there was no mention of that when I made the reservation. Otherwise I would not have selected this location. I've never been to a hotel that didn't have outlets on both sides of the bed, which was a big inconvenience. Thankfully, the guy at the front desk found a power strip and brought it up. I was told there was breakfast for purchase, but I didn't see anything worth buying, so we walked next door to Dunkin Donuts one morning and ventured out on other mornings. Parking was free and plentiful. When they complete the renovations the property will be nice, as it is on US 41, which is the heart of Ft Myers. It's 2 minutes from downtown and the river, and not too from Ft Myers Beach. US 41 also runs all the way to Naples, with plenty of shopping areas and restaurants. "

"Walking into the property hallway looked a prison with steel gates in front of doors. Passed a coin operated laundry room separate from property. Listed as having laundry but did not specify it was a communal laundry room. It also didn’t have any detergent dispensers. Kitchen had filthy coffee machine and there was enough coffee to make only 1 or 2 pots. 2 different brands with enough to scrab the bottom. Opened the kitchen cabinet door to grab a glass and the first one was a red plastic glass with a crack down the side. Silverware draw did not open properly and could not access teaspoons. Wanted to use the oven and the door handle was loose! No instructions on how to turn on the TV. There were 2 remotes and spent 15 minutes before figuring it out. TV looked relatively new and were probably the best feature in the unitLooked out patio door at pool which had no access from unit and did not look very clean. The window treatment had a broken panel which was ticked into clip. Immediately fell out was opened patio shade. #2 bedroom had uncomfortable beds. #2 bathroom had no water pressure in sink and no stopper. Don’t remove any jewelry around the sink. Might get lost forever. Bedroom and bathroom #1 were slightly better. Furniture looked meh with the exception of living room. Vrbo pictures are not what you get Very disappointing"
