The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy

The host and the room itself and the overall facilities were excellent. We cannot fault them in any way. However…We arrived to no electricity and to our shock and disappointment - no generator. It meant on a very cold night and after a very long drive from Wānaka - we were in the dark with only a torch with no heating. We noted some other accommodation nearby had generators. There was also no internet or mobile service which made it for a very interesting evening. Overall, putting aside most things out of people’s control, this is a nice place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay in Fox Glacier. Room very thoughtfully appointed with all traveler needs. Clean comfortable room, breakfast included in my stay was great. They also offered free glow worm tours!

A wonderful place to stay

The Fox Glacier Lodge was an amazing place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were nicely presented and the bonus glow worm tour was a great value add. I can highly recommend staying here.
