We saw a Shell gas station on the way back to the bridge but otherwise it was mostly houses and land. We almost stopped by their museum ($1 suggested donation) but it closed minutes before we would have reached it...

"If you want a quiet getaway next to a tiny lake this is the spot. Very relaxing for us city folk. The guest house is very comfortable."

"The owners were great and gladly answered questions. The design of the place is well thoughtout and looks wonderful. The place looks very clean. Their kitchen is full with all the necessary supplies. We were given access to the kayaks, paddle boards, etc. and this made our trip more fun. There are chairs and umbrellas out on the beach and I enjoyed having coffee there in the morning."
