"Very clean and comfortable property"

"I booked a room online and upon arriving was told I would have to pay a $250 cash deposit because I had a local address even though I tried to explain to them that we were moving from the area out of state and just needed a place to stay for one night they still made me leave with my special-needs daughter and go find an ATM and bring them back $250 in cash! The front staff were really cocky and talked to me in a condescending manner! The first room they put me in smelled like animals, so I requested another room due to allergies and once again got attitude, but was able to get a room that at least didn’t stink! Very uncomfortable feeling being treated like that because they don’t trust you to stay without giving them $250 in cash even though my room was already paid for through the Expedia! I would avoid this place!! "

"The room was nice. It's an old building so no central air so not sure how it will be June, July and August. There is a fridge and microwave in room which is nice. No real amenities. Small coffee area for Keurig coffee. But it's just a nice place to stay the night and enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area and just sleep there but I enjoyed my April stay"

"I cannot say enough good things about this BnB. The owner is absolutely wonderful, spent time making sure I was comfortable and settled, and obviously takes enormous pride in ownership. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this charming place and I will tell anyone who has plans to stay anywhere near Charleston to make sure they stop here. You will not be disappointed. Excellent accommodations, excellent food, top-notch service. WOW."
