"Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The staff was fantastic and super responsive. When our smoke detector started beeping—disturbing our sleep—the staff immediately stepped in to change the batteries and contact maintenance. Even though maintenance couldn't come right away, the staff successfully stopped the beeping so we could rest comfortably for the remainder of our stay. ​We also loved the pool—it was huge and had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy! ​The only minor issue was that the shower...

"Staff were very friendly, however there was no wifi in the room and the room smelled like mold. The carpet was wet by the air conditioner. When I told housekeeping they said due to the hot weather, the air conditioner is running a lot more. But I live in Florida where my air runs all the time without wet carpet. The Hot tub was awesome, staff said pool was heated but was cold but we really enjoyed it"

"It is an older hotel but still has a lot of charm left in it. It’s very clean and you can’t beat the view right next to Lake Michigan. Having a restaurant and bar helps also. The beds were a little soft for my liking but not unbearable. It’s a very quiet hotel which was a nice change of pace, with the lastest trend being youth sports teams over running a hotel and their parents care. I would definitely stay there again."
