"The room we had was totally clean and nice!!! Air conditioning great. Breakfast fine.
So the property is lovely, but could use some tlc. It’s pretty remote so if you are traveling alone and or female or just females in the group, you may not feel totally safe coming back at night in the dark. That was a big issue for our group.
The rooms were very nice!!!"

"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Found Principessa Pio on an Internet search of places in Ferrara. The photos looked great, but they frequently do, while the places often fail to live up to them. Not so in this case. The Pio has just a few rooms along with a restaurant in a recently renovated barn. The fit and finish are of a very high order with a minimal aesthetic throughout.
