"The kitchen was excellent! Well stocked and perfect for family gatherings.The lake views were stunning! Every bedroom had lake views as well as the open living space. The bedrooms were lovely the only improvement that could be made is on the queen size beds. They were less comfortable than the double beds. The bathrooms were clean and well designed. The beach access and private deck area were awesome! Our entry information was easy and exit expectations were more than reasonable. This home is perfectly located to downtown shops and restaurants, within walking distance and for us near to our Michigan family. We have been to Frankfort many times but never in the fall. It is a must see time of year. We loved the family home atmosphere and history. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!"

"We had a wonderful stay in the birdhouse. The lococation was perfect, just 2 blocks from downtown and 1 block from the beach. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was plenty of space for us. Host was very responsive and pleasant to talk to. We are definitely planning to come back."
