We had a great visit. Did lots of hiking during the day in Nantahala. Enjoyed the evenings relaxing watching the creek out back. The listing doesn't fo justice for how well stocked the place is. Everything you could need is there, slow cooker, blenders, pots, pans, etc. Coffe maker does grinds or kcups. Perfect stay! Beautiful area!
The host was very easy to communicate with. This tiny home has a wonderful view of an open field with a creek, which was a perfect spot to walk our dog and enjoy the fresh air. It had a very cozy interior. It wasn't far from restaurants & shopping. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
We absolutely loved our stay here. This tiny home is truly something special—peaceful, private, and surrounded by such beautiful scenery. It is, without a doubt, the best place we’ve stayed in Franklin, NC.The home itself is absolutely darling and has everything you need, with thoughtful touches that make it feel cozy and welcoming. The property is extremely private, which made it the perfect place to relax during a very busy and stressful time for us.Debra was wonderful—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to accommodate our changing dates during our move to our new home, which made the entire process so much less stressful. That kind of kindness and flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. We are so grateful for our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway.
For a tiny house this place was amazing. It was secluded and had breathtaking views of the mountains. The creek was beautiful to listen to in the mornings just sitting on the porch. Excellent communication with property owner, very friendly, and personable. The house was clean and equipped with everything needed for a long stay. We will definitely be back!
The home was perfect for what we needed. Pictures of home are 100% accurate. The views are even better in person! Host was incredible! Gave some great recommendations and very responsive.
The location was just as described. It was peaceful, provided privacy, clean, easy check-in and access, well maintained, gorgeous grounds, comfortable bedding, and Debra was quick to respond when I had any questions. If you're looking somewhere close to Franklin, but want to be in the countryside, this is the place to be. Wifi and cell service was excellent as well. Enjoyed the fire pit one evening while listening to the creek below. Will definitely stay again when coming back.
The location was perfect for my interest in rock collecting. I was close to many mines to choose from for daytime activities! The tiny home had everything needed to cook meals and sleep comfortably. The views are breathtaking and the sound of the creek was so relaxing. My last night I enjoyed a bonfire. I hope to return ag
I wish I didn't have to leave! The space was absolutely perfect, incredibly private feeling and surrounded by nature. It was lovely to see all the deer in the morning/evening. Everything felt very clean and safe. I can't wait to come back again, I felt like I won the lottery with this find. The only thing I'd change is a way to adjust the auto-outside lights so I could see the stars better, or, some big curtains in the bedroom window to block out the outdoor lights to sleep a little better. The bed was comfy too! Love the Kantha Quilt!
This is the perfect place if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing. The house had everything you need and nothing you didn't. Arriving at the property was super easy, all access codes were sent before the trip. Once there the view over the meadow with the sound of the creek was exactly what I needed to relax. A large porch with seating was a great place to relax in the morning or evening. The "tiny house" had plenty of space where it mattered but was also fully functional. Property feels very remote but is just a short drive into town for dinner or groceries and is in a great place if you plan on exploring the area.
This is PURE Tranquility at Best!! From God's Creation and Richard & Debra's Preservation you will find yourself at peace and joy just sitting on the patio with a view of the fresh water Cowee Creek which runs through the center of the property and a wonderful mountain view backdrop. We had the chance to meet Richard and Debra and both are great people and more than accommodating. The Tiny House is a Tiny house, but super cozy, clean, and comfortable, we had no problems at all with us and our dogs. We will be returning, as this has been The BEST vacation spot I have found in the mountains. Thank you again Debra and Richard!!
We will be retuning,
Our family had an amazing time on Cowee Creek. Had the opportunity to meet both of the owners. They were both friendly and hospitable. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs all over and I have never stayed in a home that the kitchen that had all of the needed items. The kids had a blast in the creek. Our friends who were staying close by came over for the kids to build boats and have a boat race down the creek. The kids explored the creek banks for cool rocks and to look for fish. The pictures don’t do it justice. I fairly certain I found an arrow head next to the creek. Did a lot of research on the Cowee Valley. The Valley is full of Cherokee History. We saw deer grazing in the meadow and a ground hog by the creek. The surprise snow shower on the official first day of spring was magical. It was the highlight of the week. We are already planning a trip back. A week wasn’t long enough The drive from the main road to the house is gorgeous. The roads are very well maintained and it’s easy access. The property is gated for added privacy and security. The drive way is flat and easy access.
Awesome location and very motorcycle friendly had a pickup small motorcycle trailer and the bike lots of room for parking The cabin is so nice and the bed is very comfortable This place is a 12 out of 10
Such a beautiful, peaceful property with the creek nearby. The house had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and the porch and deck were the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery.
Super nice place. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Only issue we had was fighting over the blanket-could be a touch bigger- but there are other blankets available. Anytime I had a question I received a timely response. Looking to go back to enjoy the calmness
The cabin was very cozy and comfy. Was a perfect location looking over a creek. Would rebook again. We had a wonderful getaway. Definitely would book again!
This is the perfect place to get some R&R! When you arrive, you will be greeted with a bubbling stream and that sets the stage for a welcoming home that is well appointed with everything you need. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back.
This tiny home was everything. It lacked nothing and was neat, clean, and cozy. Truly enjoyed my week long stay. Debra was very helpful and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend
