"Room was spacious & very clean except for the carpet. It seemed to have a sticky residue on it. May have been a disinfectant spray that settled but the floors were the only thing dirty in the room. "

"Great, nice, clean, peaceful, quiet, friendly and respectful place. Staff went above and beyond to please guests. Rooms so clean and fresh smell. Breakfast was a plus. Nice area, close to lots of restaurants, nearby to other popular destinations, near highways and major routes. Near national park, 40 minute drive to French Quarters. A unique place at a unique location."

We left a day early.Pros: Well stocked, soft bed, TVs in both rooms, nice appliancesCons: Misleading description, lower end of town (did not feel safe, run down parks and homes in neighborhood) loud music (shaking windows loud!) from neighborhood and cars at all hours, small poor quality linens, limits for low temp on AC ...too hot for sleeping and wasnt informed of limit until after booking, deck was filthy, extremely small shower (like can't bend down in shower without hitting head on doors) ridiculous rule list that is sent after booking without option to cancel, ridiculous penalty fees for linens if missing that you are reminded of constantly after booking, owner requires insurance for rental (most people who have homeowners insurance have coverage that extends with them when staying elsewhere...should not be required for rental) We have stayed at significantly nicer VRBO properties for less and without all of the limitations and rules. Price vs value are completely misaligned. "

"I came in when Amanda was working the front desk. Amanda was by far the best welcoming experience I've encountered in a hotel. I have traveled all over Asia, some of Europe and the US. I can't tell you how genuinely warm and welcoming Amanda was but it also came across as entirely authentic. I even thought I'd love to have her work for my company. People like her make the tiring part of traveling so worth it for just a few moments of above and beyond kindness. Thank you. Will stay here again if my travels bring me back."

"SureStay Plus was not what I expected. It is decent if you are looking for a Motel. I was expecting a hotel with more upgraded facilities and a breakfast that included more than just Walmart-bought muffins and cereal, especially considering the price for the stay. On a positive note, the staff was courteous and friendly."
