"Wonderful hotel with easy access to visit the castle and the beaches and a nice short walk to the old town. Best bathroom and shower I’ve ever experienced in Greece. Will definitely stay again. Thank you to all the staff for making our 5 nights in Nafplion wonderful!!"

"What a stunning place to stay in Nafplio. Our room was huge and tastefully decorated with a little balcony overlooking the water to sit on after dinner. It is right in the heart of the old town and walkable to everywhere with free parking at the port opposite. We loved it"

"Nice traditional guesthouse, seemed family run. Just a handful of rooms, clean and nicely decorated, with views all the way to the harbor, but quite a long walk to town. Ample parking is a plus. Breakfast was excellent, home made and very fresh food. Very nice and helpful staff. "

"Fantastic view. Staff is very helpful especially Dorena with great advice for my onward travels to Sparta. It is a bit of an uphill hike to the hotel but the view is worth it."

"We enjoyed our stay at Espero. We watched a wedding in the square out front, as well as the horsedrawn carriage and tour train. The room was very nice. It was NOT, however, soundproof. It was a trade-off for being on the front on the square. We enjoyed our little balcony. I did use earplugs and had on my white noise, but it was still Saturday night, and not quiet. The breakfast was at the restaurant next door and was wonderful!"

"From the first greeting, the staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. Then, I saw that the room was beautiful. I enjoyed peace and quiet, comfort, and a clean space. Breakfast buffet was lovely. The location of the hotel was ideal - lots to walk to, including shopping, food, and all the local things/sights. Near to the sea and Bourtzi Castle, I most enjoyed evening walks and admiring the sunset. "
