"Phoenix’s best selling point is its location. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are nothing special, the bathrooms/showers are on the smaller side. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. You have to pay to park (that’s anywhere in Copenhagen) and it costs about $50 USD per day. The biggest issue we ran into was upon check-in where we had to switch rooms twice because it was clear they weren’t cleaned very well before we arrived. Stains on mattress covers and sheets as well as hair and crumbs in the sheets, suggesting they weren’t changed between guests. I expected more from what is considered a 4 star, luxury hotel but I don’t necessarily feel it’s a bad deal. The locations truly is very centralized and great to be your hub for your vacation."

"Didn’t try to swim in the pool, but otherwise well maintained hotel, very clean. Next door to Tivoli gardens with decorations, rides, lots of food choices. Hotels Rug bakery and breakfast place not that good though, I would recommend to go outside"

"Stayed in Copenhagen Downtown Hostel for 3 nights in a room with eight double capsules. The capsules are spacious, bed linen was very clean, and the bed comfortable. The only minus was the dodgy keypad, I had to put my key code three times to get access to the room. Not sure if other people had the same problem. There were four shared showers and four toilets in the corridor where my room was, and they were kept clean. The next door is the hostel's bar, where they serve breakfast. Not sure what it was like as I didn't eat it. Overall a good place to stay when you in Copenhagen."
