About this property

Private guesthouse, Hot tub, soaking tub in town!

Summary:

A cozy one bedroom, one bath guesthouse with hot tub! Featuring a fireplace (electric Ambiance), king bed with luxurious linens, Keurig and Wifi. This guest house is located on a quiet neighborhood alley street that is less than 2 miles away from Main Street where the shopping district, museums, galleries, and tasting rooms are. Professionally cleaned and sanitized after each reservation! Managed by Heavenly Hosts



The Space:

Chic guest house nestled in an alley behind the main house, offering proximity to downtown and featuring a hot tub.



- Brand new Smart TV with Roku!

- Keurig + reusable K-cup, coffee grounds, cream, sugar and mini-fridge are provided

- Full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo (please note, the jets in the indoor bathtub are out of order but it can still be used for soaking)

- Hot tub faces the alley near front door (as shown in photos) and there are curtains to provide extra privacy. Also, a newly built gate has been added around the hot tub for safety reasons and per city requirements (temp photos are shown on the listing).

- This guesthouse is located behind the main house on the alley side. Parking is to the left of the guesthouse and it is a compact space.



Note: Please be advised that we are currently undergoing redecoration and furniture updates. Once these enhancements are completed, we will be capturing new photos for the listing. Presently, the bed frame and rug have been replaced with a different style, although the bed size remains king. Rest assured, all amenities remain unchanged.

Guests have access to the entire guest house and the hot tub. Both Guesthouse and hot tub are located in the alley behind the main house.

Cozy, beautiful and a great sleep. This private area is speaceful and close to Main Street. We loved parking right next to us and only us. Hot tub was a great end to our night. All around great choice.

Charming cabin with hot tub in a residential neighborhood

A very charming cabin at the backyard of a house, with interior space similar to a larger hotel room with a mini-bar type kitchen area. Access to the cabin is via a very narrow alley behind residential homes(hence the name AlleyKat). Despite the feeling of "being in people's backyard" with questionable privacy, our stay was quiet and peaceful. As you've read here the parking space adjacent to the unit is a very tight turning radius that would be difficult for a large SUV or pickup. We drove a compact car and parking into the tight space was still a challenge. Bed was not comfortable for us- felt more like a futon than a real mattress you'd find in a hotel. Overall, we still find this cabin a very nice stay for the pricepoint.

Very cute inside and out. Messaging with the host was easy, you just communicate through the website or vrbo app. Check in and check instructions were very clear. It was an overall decent stay. However, the bedding and rug are very outdated and needs to be changed. Upon arrival, there was a hair on one of the non decorated pillows and hair on the shower wall. I reached out letting the host know about the hair on the pillow and they did offer to replace it. However, later that night I found the hair on the shower wall so it felt as if the space wasn’t thoroughly/deep cleaned. What was also a little strange, everything we left and locked the door, we would come back and the door would be unlocked. The first time we thought maybe it was our mistake but after that situation, we double checked the door was locked before actually leaving and we would still come back to the door being unlocked. Nothing was taken or missing but it seemed a little odd. We specifically chose this house because of the hot tub but it was tempted at 87 degrees and we couldn’t up the heat of it. With it being 30-40 degrees outside, it wasn’t warm enough to actually enjoy. So overall, a decent stay. It was cute and quaint but could use the touch ups!

The host did a great job communicating. The location was great. Loved the hot tub! It was very clean. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the bed was so hard my body hurt from it. Also could use some room darkening curtains on both windows. It was very bright in the morning.

Overall everything was nice, did have some problems with pests inside, could hear kids on a playground or daycare in the morning. Other than that it was a very nice little cottage to stay in.
